We have in a number of Chromebook computers and data dongles to boost internet access for our students to loan*.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are currently studying a course with us and are being held back by the lack of equipment or internet access please talk to your tutor.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you would like to enrol on an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wmcollege.ac.uk\/courses\/?search=&amp;pCat=&amp;loc=Online&amp;smonth=&amp;days=&amp;time=&amp;weeks=&amp;con=&amp;search+button=%C2%A0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">online course<\/a>&nbsp;but are worried you don\u2019t have a computer or access to the internet, please&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wmcollege.ac.uk\/contact-us\/centres-and-locations\/\">contact our Learner Services team<\/a>&nbsp;via the live chat function, e-mail or phone and they will be happy to help you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*&nbsp;Please note that the loan of equipment is strictly at the discretion of the College and is mainly for those on a qualification course.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ugb-accordion ugb-accordion ugb-2384e6a ugb-accordion--v2 ugb-accordion--design-basic ugb-main-block\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"ugb-inner-block\"><div class=\"ugb-block-content\"><div class=\"ugb-accordion__item\"><div class=\"ugb-accordion__heading\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\"><h4 class=\"ugb-accordion__title\">Learners with Disabilities and Learning Difficulties<\/h4><svg xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" viewBox=\"0 0 20 20\" class=\"ugb-accordion__arrow\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\"><path d=\"M16.7 3.3L10 10 3.3 3.4 0 6.7l10 10v-.1l10-9.9z\"><\/path><\/svg><\/div><div class=\"ugb-accordion__content\" role=\"region\"><div class=\"ugb-accordion__content-inner\">\n<p>Our friendly Additional Learning Support team is committed to supporting learners with disabilities or learning difficulties. They will advise you about availability of learning or other support services and college facilities and will make appointments for you to discuss your needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Additional Learning Support (ALS) may include:<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Access: We try to make classes and activities accessible to all learners who inform us of access needs; we will do our best to accommodate them through reasonable adjustments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dyslexia support: Learners assessed as dyslexic may be helped to achieve via one to one sessions with a specialist support tutor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In-class support: This is made available to learners who require help with learning to achieve and complete courses successfully.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Out of class support: This is available in small groups, workshops or one to one basis, depending on learners\u2019 needs and the resources available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Disability Support <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have a disability, we will aim to meet your individual needs.&nbsp; Our Disability Officer works closely with the Additional Learning Support team and teachers in the College, to support you, and your course teacher, to ensure you complete and achieve your learning goals by reducing barriers to learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Disability support available:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Pre-enrolment tour of the building to familiarise yourself with our facilities. This will help you to decide if the College is suitable for you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support with access to and from the building and classrooms including use of stair lifts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assistive equipment and resources including Hearing Loops, dyslexia aids, aids for visual impairment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access arrangements for exams<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Both our Crowndale Road and Kentish Town sites are older buildings.&nbsp; Crowndale Road dates from the early 1900s and is a listed building.&nbsp; This means that some of our rooms will be difficult to access if you have mobility issues.&nbsp; If you are a wheelchair user or have disability related to your mobility, please check with us before enrolling so that we can make sure you can access the classroom or studio in your chosen subject.&nbsp; Contact Learner Services team and they will arrange for you to speak with our Disability Officer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Assessing and Meeting your Needs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Additional Learning Support (ALS) team will arrange an interview for you to share and discuss your needs.
